One of the biggest issues with most local business websites is the lack of content. Simply having a description of your business, about us, contact us and services page is not enough. I know of one Search Engine Optimization expert stated that even local business websites should have HUNDREDS of pages.
No, you don’t need to create hundreds of pages all at once but by blogging on a regular basis you are creating more content (pages) and displaying your expertise in your field. Prospective customers want to know you are knowledgeable about the industry you work in. It does not matter what type of business you have, there is alot of information you can share with your prospective customer that displays your expertise.
